Mohamed Salah Tests Positive For Coronavirus – Egyptian Football Association Confirms

Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a forward for premier league club Liverpool and the Egypt national team, Mohamed Salah has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), the Egyptian Football Association announced in a statement on Friday, November 13, 2020.

“The coronavirus test taken by our national team has shown that our international player Salah, the star of Liverpool, has been infected with coronavirus after receiving a positive test result, although he is not suffering from any symptoms.” – Egyptian Football Association.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said Mohamed Salah is now self-isolating and will be subject to further test in the coming hours.

Salah has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season, scoring 10 goals in only 13 appearances.

Liverpool are not due to play again until their premier league encounter with Leicester on 22nd November 2020.
